Salted Tahini Chocolate Chip Biscuits

These biscuits are great, they've got a slightly nutty taste and aren't too sweet but really yummy.

  • 115 g butter
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1 egg and 1 yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 150 g plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp bicarb soda
  • 1 tsp of kosher salt
  • 200 g of choice chips

Method:

  1. Beat butter, sugar and tahini until pale
  2. Add eggs, vanilla and beat for a further 5 minutes
  3. Add flour, baking soda and baking powder and mix.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Cook at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes or until golden.
